Atris Technology, Inc. Completes Epson EP-Scan Certification Program

Clients can utilize Atris teller image capture and remote deposit solutions bundled with the Epson check scanners.

The certification enables Atris to bundle its teller image capture and remote deposit solutions with Epson’s CaptureOne™ desktop scanner for back office branch check capture and remote deposit capture as well as the TM-J9000/J9100 scanner with integrated teller printer for teller check capture, providing a complete software and hardware solution for check electronification. Unlike traditional vendor certification programs designed to provide technical competence within a narrow product focus, Epson's approach strives to ensure the ultimate success of its check scanning products by providing established market leaders with the highest level of product integration and support.

Atris has a long history with Epson printers through its FlexTeller product for traditional teller workflow and found combining check image capture a natural extension through the integration of Epson TM-J9000 check scanners. Tellers performing transactions with image-enabled FlexTeller eliminate duplicate document handling and the dependency on internal documents to virtually eliminate the typical demands placed on item processing personnel. As an Epson-certified provider, FlexTeller can rely on a single transaction processing solution and conserve counter space instead of requiring multiple devices.
